Marie Morrow is a ever - evolving artist and practices a wide variety of styles. Her talent was recognized as early as the age of 9 when she began winning awards in art. Additionally, when she was 12, she designed the mascot for her junior high school. After graduation, she branched away from the art world and opened a restaurant in Milltown, N.J., which was a successful business that she sold after a decade to return to her artistic roots. As a student at The Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art in Newark, N.J., she explored different mediums and studied--among many other areas--drafting, textile, and interior design. She was awarded the Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges honor for three consecutive years and was a two-year recipient of the Edward John Memorial Scholarship. Marie graduated in Fine Arts and then attended Middlesex County College, Edison, N.J. to study sculpture and business.
Once Marie graduated, she started teaching art in New Jersey and when she moved to Florida, she continued teaching it in elementary schools and at detention facilities for the Artist-in-Residence Program in various parts of Florida. She has expanded her outreach by teaching a variety of different mediums and classes at the Vero Beach Art Museum.
Marie has won numerous awards and received acclaim from her peers. Her work was recently exhibited at the Juried Art Show 2023, “The Best of the Best”, at the Backus Museum in Fort Pierce, Florida. She’s been published in the Indian River Magazine, in 32963, the Stuart News, the Boomer Beat, and appears on the cover of the Florida Event Planner.
Marie is now teaching her craft to local Vero Beach residents under the name of Marie’s Art Studio. She derives great pleasure from sharing her talent and guiding her students as they explore the world of color, develop their own style, discover the magic of light, and delight in their ability to paint.
Marie enjoys the timeless and endless journey of creating and developing within her own personal art journey—it is always flowing and evolving, continually enchanting, and never static.

Marie never considered art as a career at first, maybe because it came to her so easily. Winning many award at an early age, designing the school mascot, that hung at the entrance of the junior high school building she attended. Designing the schools logo and T-shirts.
After graduating she opened a restaurant in Milltown, New Jersey. called Perrone's Italian Kitchen . After more than a decade she was not happy even though she had a successful business.
She sold the business and signed up to the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts to explore the visual arts.
She attended all the courses the college had to offer, sculptor, interior design, drafting , textile design, and of course painting.
She was honored with two Edward John Memorial Scholarships and a three-time recipient of Who’s ,Who’s, amongst students in American Colleges. She went on to Graduate in the fine arts.
Today you can find Marie giving art instruction, demos in the US and abroad or busy creating works in her studio.
